8 June 1998: Cambridge, KS Tornadoes
A total of two tornadoes were intercepted this day. The second tornado, which passed wihtin 200 m of DOW 3, also allowed for brief dual-Doppler measurements of peak surface winds of 110-115 mph. Below is a sample of the data obtained from this case.
