Daily Mission Update: 10 May 2016
"On the road, again"
Tuesday, 10 May, was a travel day for the TWIRL crew, as they made their way back to Boulder, CO from their previous stopping point, McAlester, OK. With inactive weather expected over the next few days, the armada traveled over 800 miles back to Boulder to analyze some of the data which was collected over the first few days of the TWIRL project. As of their return to the hangar, the vehicles (and crew) have traveled over 2250 miles...in the first week!
The 10 May route for the CSWR fleet of vehicles was from McAlester, OK back to Boulder. (Click image above for larger view.)
As the project progresses, scientists, students and other participants will be providing a detailed summary of other missions and first-hand accounts from the field. Be sure to check back for updates as they become available!
