Homeland Security (2003)
The Canadian River Project (1) took place in March-April 2003. The purpose was to evaluate the ability of radars, including the DOWs, to detect releases of simulated bacteriological and chemical agents from aircraft. Some preliminary images and data are shown below (click on any image for a larger view.) The DOW was able to detect the agents in some cases, but not in others.
